When you're a blogger, you spend a lot of time on the internet, tracking down other blogs. What still amazes and thrills me about this job is that this counts as "research". I'm discovering, though, that it's easier to find sites in some topics than others. And food blog research? It can be overwhelming.
There are just so many of them out there!
Fortunately, I've found a few handy tools to help you in your search.
First up is the Foodblog Blog, a directory of almost 2000 food blogs. And since working your way methodically down a very long list can get a bit tedious, they have the very fun "Blog Hop" feature. Just click the button and hop from blog to blog to blog. Some you will love and save to your favourites and some, well, you'll just click that button and hop to the next one.
Another twist on this concept is found at Food Porn Watch, which lists food blogs as they update.
If it's recipes and only recipes you're looking for, well, there are roundups. Lots of them. You can try the Presto Pasta Night Roundup for a huge range of yummy pasta recipes. And then there's the Apples and Thyme Roundup #4, which is a collection of recipes and stories celebrating time spent in the kitchen with our parents and grandparents.
OK. I have to stop now, or I'll never see any of you back here again!
Have fun and enjoy your lazy Sunday!
