Celebration Friday

I had such a warm response to this post that I thought it might be nice to share the inevitabilities we're celebrating this week.

There are some glimmers of progress on various projects here.

We're also having our first official heatwave of the year.  And since I had my hot-weather haircut in anticipation of working at the dairy, for the first time in years I can face the prospect of an entire summer without a single case of Bozo Head.  Definitely worth toasting!

But then, summer makes me shallow.

How about you?  What will you be celebrating this weekend?

Yahoo to no-Bozo-hair; although I would only call it "somewhat untamed when dealing with humidity-hair".

We will be celebrating healthy, active children this weekend. We are watching five of our sturdy youngsters play soccer... endlessly...all weekend ~ upwards of a total of fourteen times we will be sitting, watching, cheering, admonishing (Sammy...with your feet, not your hands), and laughing (alot). It could be much worse, so this weekend we will do our best to enjoy and cherish this moment in time; this hot and humid moment in time.

Stay cool.

And we will raise a toast to your many soccer players.

Can't wait to see the pictures!
