After nearly four months on the market (an eternity by our standards), we have sold our building. The deal closes on August 15. And once again, our lives are in complete upheaval.
We don't know where we'll be living, at least in the near future. We don't know where Alan will be baking (the search starts almost immediately). We don't really know what we'll be doing, in fact.
If it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm so not. I'm excited! There are so many possibilities right now. And I love that feeling. Some might say that I'm addicted to it.
But Alan is the same way, and since we don't have the responsibility of children, we are free to indulge our whims.
There is fresh air blowing through our lives today. And it feels wonderful.
What are you celebrating this weekend? I hope it has you fizzing with excitement!

Congrats and enjoy your adventure!! A tent by the river perhaps? I'm celebrating a litter of kittens (want one?) and a new puppy named Phoebe. So, this week we are celebrating furry (not fizzing) little new lives that have joined ours.
I want pictures!
I know that feeling as most of my life was lived like that. These days I am settled (by my standards anyway) as we have been in the same place for 6 years with no intention of moving on in the immediate future. Still, in 3 months I leave for a 6 month visit to Africa with my daughter, for the second time in the last 5 years, so I guess that's change by most people's standards. Have a good week and good luck
And to you! Best of luck with the trip plans!
