Our friends Valerie and Laurent Devin are opening a new French restaurant in Vancouver. They've launched a blog to share their progress from first viewing to the Grand Opening and beyond.

And a little closer to home, Ruth's making cheese again. She dropped off the first delivery of the New Year last night, so we're well stocked-up with Monforte Dairy's 'Belle', 'Nika' and 'Sheep Dip'. She promises more varieties soon.
