First Blogiversary!!! A Party and a Contest (Virtually)

One year ago today, I posted this. Not an auspicious start, I'll admit.

But I knew absolutely nothing about blogs and blogging. I was just hoping to get the word out about our (now defunct) food shop.

It's been quite a year, posting and learning. The day I uploaded my first photo, was a huge triumph for me.

I started out with about three readers (I'll be thanking you personally later), grew and learned, took a major time-out when my Mum died.

I had to rethink the purpose of the blog when we closed the shop. But it's becoming a little clearer as we go along. And miraculously, my readership is growing!

I want to thank you all for coming here. And for coming back! I love doing this. I've made some new friends and look forward to getting to know more of you in the year ahead.
